For any stains, apply one part lemon juice to one part cream of tartar. Rub the paste into the leather and leave it alone for 10 minutes. Supplement with another layer of paste and wait for another 10 minutes. When done, remove the paste with a damp cloth/sponge. If done correctly, the stain will come off together with the paste.
Leather Restoring
Overtime, leather might lose its shine as it comes in contact with various elements. To nourish the leather and improve the look, mix one part of white vinegar with two parts of linseed oil in a small bottle. Shake well and apply to leather using a soft cloth. Gently work in a circular motion till all surface have been covered. Let is sit for 15 minutes before buffing with a soft cloth. This should restore the shine to the leather. If necessary, you can do this technique again but not more than twice.
